THE BEGINNING
How we started
We live in a 2 bedroom condo and have very little space for physical toys or gifts from family and friends. Last Christmas we worked with our parents to help create handmade “coupon” booklets of activities that they could do with our kids. We also wanted our family to spend time with our kids instead of simply giving them something that they would soon forget. We had our family give us ideas on what they could do with our kids and created the first Terrificate booklet for our oldest daughter.

THE WORKING PROCESS
The idea
We told some friends and colleagues about what we did and they said they wanted to do the same for their family next year. We decided to take the idea further and Terrificates was born. We also realized that people struggle with what to get new parents, or people who have taken ill. Having had these life experiences ourselves, we worked with friends and family to come up with the best ideas on what to do for people who are going through a tough time.
Our Team
Our team is always working on improving the experience of creating a booklet. We are constantly adding new experiences, designs and ideas to our booklet creator. Our main goals are to make the creation of a booklet fast, intuitive, and be the most appreciated gift that you can give.
